Mark your calendars as GastroBeats 2025 returns!
As Singapore’s biggest music and food festival, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy amazing street food, live music, and carnival vibes.
And yes, it’s pet-friendly, so your furry friends are welcome too.
This year’s GastroBeats runs from 29 May to 22 June 2025, 4pm to 11pm daily, so make sure you read our guide before heading down with the fam.
Jett Barbeque: Texan-Style Smoked Meats That Fall Right Off The Bone
@jettbarbecue We’re going for another food festival, this time with a baby on the way! 📍 Gastrobeats 2025 Date: 29 May-22 June (open Thursday to Sunday) Time: 4pm – 11pm / Sold out Venue: MBS event area
While exploring the bustling food bazaar at GastroBeats 2025, we couldn’t resist stopping by Jett Barbecue, a returning favourite that never fails to draw a crowd.
Known for its authentic Texan-style smoked meats, the team goes all out, even flying in massive industrial smokers from Texas to ensure that signature slow-smoked flavour.
We tried the fall-off-the-bone tender dino ribs, served over creamy mashed potatoes and rich sauce, as well as the smoked beef cheek tacos, which were packed with generous, melt-in-your-mouth chunks of meat.
Slurp Your Oysters: Fresh Waves Of Flavor From Chill To Grill
Source: OddleEats
Slurp Your Oysters was the second stall that drew us in, no surprise, given its buzz from Artbox earlier this year.
We tried the chilled oysters, topped with mango salsa and Thai chilli, and loved how the freshness of the seafood paired with the punchy flavours.
Prefer it simple? They’re just as good on their own.
The grilled oysters, in mentaiko and grilled cheese varieties, were lightly torched and deliciously juicy.
Warabimochi Kamakura: Mochi Madness And Creamy Strawberry Dreams Await
@tastesoulsg Ok wait… I get the hype now 😮💨 Warabimochi Kamakura @ GastroBeats 📆 Now – 22 Jun 🕓 4 – 11pm 📍Bayfront Event Space Follow @/tastesoulsg on Telegram for more recommendations! #tastesoulsg #trendingsg #gastrobeats #exploresg #foodiesg ♬ IN YOUR EYES – Snoh Aalegra
After the oysters, we headed to Warabimochi Kamakura, the viral Japanese dessert brand known for its chewy, smooth mochi treats, for a refreshing dessert fix.
We tried the exclusive black sesame warabimochi, dusted with fragrant roasted sesame powder, and the kinako strawberry Royale, a creamy Hokkaido milk drink with chewy strawberry mochi chunks.
The matcha strawberry warabimochi drink, a returning favourite, was just as delicious, balancing earthy and sweet flavours with that signature chewy bite.
Aunty Siam: Rediscovering Hakka Heritage One Authentic Bite At A Time
@themeatmenchannel I look left look right…and see this (Hakka) DIVA 😆 Come try Aunty Siam’s traditional Hakka food, like this Nam Yu Fried Pork Belly 南乳炸猪肉 at GastroBeats 2025. Follow Aunty Siam on their journey to @gastrobeats.sg 2025 ♥️ See you at GastroBeats 2025! 📆 29 May – 22 June 2025 📍 Bayfront Event Space 🤩 Free general entry for all! #GastroBeats #HakkaFood #HakkaCulture #fypsg ♬ original sound – themeatmenchannel
After savouring those standout dishes, we also tried the Hakka fried yong tau foo, each piece perfectly crispy on the outside, yet tender and flavorful within.
The variety of stuffed vegetables and tofu made every bite interesting, with subtle hints of traditional seasoning that kept us coming back for more.
What truly sets Aunty Siam apart is the genuine passion and care that the mother-son team pours into their food.
Their dedication to preserving authentic Hakka flavours while making them accessible is evident in every dish.
Tato Thoughts: Where Baked Potatoes Go Beast Mode
Source: TatoThoughts
When we first spotted Tato Thoughts, we assumed it was all about tater tots but we were quickly proven wrong. Turns out, they serve fully loaded baked potatoes, stuffed to the brim with bold, hearty fillings.
We tried their GastroBeats-exclusive flavours, and the Tato smoked salmon won us over instantly.
The Tato mala chicken packed a punch too, but it was that salmon combo that had us going back for more. A definite sleeper hit at the festival.
Iichiko Bar: Refreshing Shochu Cocktails Every Alcohol Lover Will Crave
We swung by The Iichiko Club near the stage, which is hard to miss with its vibrant green booth, and tried two festival favourites.
The Iichiko Uji Matcha, light and subtly earthy, and the fizzy Calpis Highball, topped with a juicy blueberry.
With rotating bars like Neon Pigeon and FLNT shaking things up throughout the fest, this shochu-powered stop is a must for cocktail lovers.
The Meatman: Beef Rendang Rolls You’ll Dream About
We couldn’t pass up the chance to try The Meatmen’s festival debut, and judging by the snaking queues, neither could anyone else.
Known for their viral recipe videos, they’re now serving up the real deal at GastroBeats 2025.
We dug into their iconic sio bak, which was everything we hoped for: crispy crackling, juicy meat, and rich flavour in every bite.
Kwazy Korndog: Sweet And Savoury Corn Dogs To Enjoy
Source: KwazyKorndog
Another returning GastroBeats favourite is Kwazy Korndog, where you’ll find a lineup of sweet-savoury corn dogs filled with cheese.
For the best cheese pull, you’ll want to go for their Cheesy Corn Dog, starring a generous amount of gooey mozzarella cheese in the middle.
With so many delicious food options to choose from, GastroBeats 2025 is definitely a must-visit this June Holiday.
Don’t forget to swing by Solace Diner, it’s not just a photo booth, it’s a full-on retro experience.
Grab your crew, strike a pose, and capture the vibes before the festival’s over!
